Full Flight Ventures (“Full Flight”, “we”, “us”) is based in Melbourne, Australia. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can do about it. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect
There are only two ways this site collects information about you.
- What you send us. When you submit the contact or quote form, we collect the details you put in it: your name, email address, and depending on the form, your company, the type of work, a budget range, a timeline and whatever you write in the message. Alongside the submission we record the date and time and the IP address it came from, which we use to identify and block abuse of the form.
- How you use the site. We run Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, which set cookies and collect standard analytics data: the pages you view, roughly where you are (city or region level), your browser and device, and how you arrived. Our hosting provider also keeps short-lived server logs containing IP addresses and request details, for security and reliability.
We do not ask for sensitive information, we do not collect payment details on this site, and we do not buy contact lists or scrape them.
Why we collect it
- To read your enquiry and reply to it, and to prepare a quote or proposal if you have asked for one.
- To carry out work you engage us for, and to stay in touch about it.
- To keep the site secure and to detect, block and investigate abuse of our forms.
- To understand which pages are useful so we can improve them.
- To meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.
If you get in touch, we will reply about the thing you contacted us about. We will not add you to a marketing list off the back of an enquiry without asking you first, and any marketing we do send will have a working unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers who run parts of this site for us, and only so far as they need it to do that job.
- Cloudflare hosts and delivers the site. Your request passes through its network, and it processes IP addresses and request metadata to serve pages and protect against attacks.
- Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES) delivers form submissions to our inbox as email.
- Google (Tag Manager and Analytics) provides the site analytics described above.
- Google Workspace hosts the mailbox your enquiry lands in.
We may also disclose information where we are required or permitted to by law, or where it is necessary to protect our rights, our people or someone's safety.
Information sent overseas
Some of these providers store or process data outside Australia, principally in the United States. By using this site or sending us an enquiry, you agree that your information may be handled overseas, where the privacy protections may differ from those in Australia. We choose providers that offer contractual and technical safeguards, but we cannot guarantee that an overseas recipient will handle your information in a way that complies with the Australian Privacy Principles in every respect.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. Ours are used for analytics only. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on this site.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics entirely using Google's browser add-on. Blocking them will not stop you from using any part of this site. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we do not currently respond to it separately, because we do not do behavioural advertising in the first place.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept as long as we have a live conversation or engagement with you, and then for as long as we need them for our legal, tax and record-keeping obligations, generally seven years. Analytics data is kept under Google's standard retention settings. Server logs are short-lived. When information is no longer needed for any of these purposes, we delete it or de-identify it.
Keeping it secure
Form submissions travel over HTTPS, the site sets strict security headers, and credentials for our email provider are held as encrypted secrets rather than in the codebase. Access to the inbox is limited to the people who need it, and protected by multi-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information while it is in transit to us, but we take reasonable steps to protect it and we will tell you and the regulator if a data breach happens that is likely to cause you serious harm.
Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, and ask us to delete it. Email us at info@fullflight.vc and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify who you are before we act. If we refuse a request, we will tell you why in writing.
Complaints
If you think we have mishandled your personal information, email us at info@fullflight.vc with the details and we will investigate and respond in writing, normally within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can take the complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Visitors from outside Australia
We work with clients in New Zealand, the United States and elsewhere. If you are in a jurisdiction with its own privacy law, such as the UK or the EU, you may have additional rights over your data, including rights to access, correct, delete, port and object to processing. Contact us at the address above and we will honour them where they apply to you.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change, and the date at the top will change with it. If a change is significant, we will make that clear rather than quietly editing the text.
